Full component inventory

The current release inventory of third-party components is published in THIRD_PARTY_LICENSES.md.

npm and Rust dependencies used by release builds.
Components bundled in the installer: pandoc (GPL-2.0-or-later, notice, GPL-2.0 text), the Playwright/Node.js browser automation runtime (notices, Node.js license), the aivium-upscale image-upscaling module (MIT; ncnn engine — BSD-3-Clause).
Optional components installed separately or via a confirmed in-app action: yt-dlp (Unlicense), FFmpeg (BtbN build, LGPL-2.1+), whisper.cpp models and binary for local speech recognition (MIT), the Codex helper for Windows (Apache-2.0), Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable x64 for local Speech-to-Text on Windows.

All models run locally; no data leaves the user's computer.

Background removal — the isnet-general-use model (rembg, MIT; DIS/IS-Net weights, Apache-2.0), downloaded on first use: BACKGROUND_REMOVAL_MODEL_NOTICE.md.
Speech recognition — whisper.cpp ggml models (MIT; weights derived from OpenAI Whisper, MIT), downloaded on the user's choice.

Downloadable components may be served from Aivium servers as an unmodified mirror of the upstream sources; the application verifies checksums.

Third-party components remain under their own licenses and are not relicensed by the Aivium license agreement.
